Hop Dac
Hop Dac is a 31 years old Male artist born in Vietnam, currently working in Footscray, Victoria, Australia.

Hop Dac was born in Vietnam and raised in a dustbowl in Western Australia. While attending art school at John Curtin University in Perth, he co-founded 6A Non Institutional Contemporary Art Studios, a gallery, performance and studio space.
As a writer Hop has been published in various anthologies and online journals and has written for film and theatre.
In 2006 he co-founded Sunday Drivers Press.
He has a book of short stories published by Paroxysm Press called Croak & Grist. After publishing the book, Paroxysm Press invited him to join their editorial board.
As a painter he works mainly by commission, and hasn’t had a show in a decade, which he isn’t very proud of. He draws his influences from Surrealism, Symbolism and the Dutch and Italian Renaissance painters. He’s currently enamored by contemporary German painting, namely the Leipzig school of painting.
