Recently completed a Ph.D in Visual Art, questions artistic representation of reality (e.g. landscape) and how we arrive at this. Posits an updated vision that corresponds with aspects of contemporary culture and technology, using vision as the main means of perception. This means that to date, most of the works are silent, although they often incorporate or consist of video. Finds aspects of quantum physics pose interesting comment such as Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, where the presence of an observer makes a difference to events, and Chaos Theory and others where events at a distance affect other events, though only one can be observed at a time – small incidents that affect perhaps a field of probabilities.

Finding artistic means of expression for me means at some stage, incorporating light in the form of digital video.
