An international touring exhibition featuring works by artists from Canada, Germany and Australia examining varied interpretations of the theme ‘In Your Dreams’. The intercontinental collaborative art project resulted in an inspirational collection of works by artists from differing disciplines encompassing painting, print-making, sculpture, jewellery and textiles.

Klaus Rinke visited Australia for the first time in the late ‘70s and was moved to begin a series of dense drawings of amorphous organic forms that he called his pre-embryonic diary.
RMIT Gallery supported by the Goethe-Institute Australien is proud to present an exhibition of Klaus Rinke’s latest drawings at the gallery.

Nicholas Jones is a Melbourne based sculptor who uses books and printed paper to create incredibly involved artworks which question the manner in which books are ‘read’. The ‘Tower of Learning’ is Jones’ first solo exhibition in Sydney which includes wall and table artworks.

He is especially interested in the Badu Island stories told to him by his father and other elders about sea creatures, headhunters, religious beliefs and life before colonisation.
