The Photographers’ Gallery is the only public gallery in London dedicated to photography. From the latest emerging talent, to historical archives and established artists – The Photographers’ Gallery is the place to see photography.
Getting to The Photographers’ Gallery
By tube: The nearest tube is Leicester Square, which is a minutes walk from the Gallery.
By rail: The Gallery is 10 minutes walk from Charing Cross station and connected to all of London’s major stations by tube.
By car: There is an NCP car park on Upper St Martin’s Lane
Access
Both ground floors have ramped access. The Gallery has a toilet fully equipped with disabled facilities. Access to the Print Sales Gallery is by the staircase only: the listed status of the building does not allow for the installation of a lift.
In 2011 The Photographers’ Gallery will move to a new building at Ramilliles Street, the opposite side of Soho from its current location. This new Gallery will allow us to expand our pioneering role of exhibiting, educating, and engaging people with photography, and projects such as Running Late are a demonstration of this creative collaboration with our Soho neighbours.
